July 18, 2014 by Admin Wynyard Chiro

Whether we like it or not, every minute of every day we are all inevitably ageing. Just how we age and how fast we age depends on the degree of oxidation that our bodies are subjected to on a regular basis. Premature ageing not only affects the way we look but the health and vitality of every cell within our bodies. This ageing process is often referred to as oxidative stress and results in the production of free radicals, chemically unstable molecules, which attack our cells DNA leaving them damaged or destroyed. As our bodies start to age, we slowly loose the ability to fight off free radical. Our bodies do need a few free radicals to function but when our bodies start to have an overload of them that is when disease and sickness come about.
